She fell in love acting when she was spotted by her drama instructor in his backyard, slogging through the grass to get to her field hockey class in time. Sarah took the decision to follow her passion for the art and pursue her studies by majoring in English and theatre at Hamilton College performing in theater abroad in London and Oxford during her senior year. Following graduating magna cum laude from Hamilton then went on to pursue a degree at Yale Drama school. She was encouraged to learn about the arts by both of her parents.
